Artistic Director  - Helen Ainsworth 

Helen Ainsworth graduated from Rambert school of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in 2004. 

Helen join Mathew Bourne’s New Adventures in 2005 where she danced in Swan Lake and Nutcracker on world tours, before leaving to attend the Professional Dancers Teaching Diploma with the Royal Academy of Dance in 2009. 

Helen has been teaching classical ballet and contemporary in Dubai since 2009 and co-founded The National Ballet Studio in 2013. 



Managing Director – Elizabeth Johnson 

Elizabeth Johnson left Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre in 2008 graduating with a Certificate in Dance Education from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. Following a move to Dubai in 2009 Elizabeth continued her teaching training with the Royal Academy of Dance and became a registered RAD teacher in 2011. During her time in the Middle East Elizabeth has taught Classical Ballet, Tap and Modern and co-founded The National Ballet Studio in 2013. 



Head of RAD Examinations and Repertoire Specialist  – Louise Warren 

Louise moved to Canada and started a successful Performing Arts Academy in Vancouver.  She came to Dubai in 2007 with her husband and has taught RAD ballet in the community since then.  She joined the faculty of TNBS in 2017.  In addition to holding her RAD teachers diploma (RAD RTS) she also has her BA(Hons) Dance Education from the University of Surrey (UK) and also more recently her Masters -  Professional Practice in Dance Technique Pedagogy from the University of Middlesex.  In addition to her work with TNBS she is also a mentor and teaching examiner for trainee teachers for the RAD Teacher training program
